Abstract
Micross Components, a microelectronics manufacturer in Apopka, Florida, saw its on-time delivery drop to 5% due to production inefficiencies, labor shortages, and supply chain issues. To tackle this, the company started a comprehensive improvement project using data analysis, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies. Key changes included upgrading automation, enhancing training, standardizing procedures, and strengthening supplier relationships. These efforts boosted on-time delivery performance to 21%, targeting 35%, while improving efficiency, staff skills, and customer satisfaction. This reflects the effectiveness of a data-driven approach in advanced manufacturing. Key Terms ⎯ Employee Training, Inventory
