Abstract

Computer program to design grounding grids for power subtations As of today, the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREP A) does not have a modem computer program based on the latest technology to design and analyze grounding grids on power substations. One of the goals of PREP A is that the configuration of their grounding grids be safe, durable and comparable with the best in the world. For that reason we decided to develop a computer program to design and analyze grounding grids for power substations based on the latest technology used in the United States of America.
