dc.description.abstractCybercrimes were increase in last years. In a near future majority of crime will be cybercrimes. The new technologies like mobile device and networks permit easy access to electronic devices that have Electronic Stored Information (ESI) in them. These ESI could be potential evidence in a court. For that reason Computer Forensics is and will continue been used to resolve cybercrimes. Honeypots while protect real assets and improve Information System security could be an additional Computer Forensics tool to help gather possible evidence faster and resolve cybercrimes like distribution of child pornography, bank fraud, and network intrusion. Also to recollect, document and study hackers and “cybercriminals” techniques used to gain unauthorized access. In a bigger scale Honeypots could be useful to create a profile of cybercriminals or organized cybercrime organization to fight against terrorism.
