Abstract

This document describes the development of a simulation model and its use in the emergency room of a hospital. The first part of the document presents the problem and the system to be modeled, the objectives of the study, the tools and techniques used in the study and the proposed procedure. The second part of the document sumarizes the data aquisition procedure and the recommendations.
