Abstract

The Island of Puerto Rico currently encounters the same issue as the rest of the world but does not count with the proper technology in manufacturers to confront it Remote operations of manufacturing systems are needed now more than ever. With the current world pandemic, it is essential today to reduce human interaction in workplaces such as manufacturers. Manufacturing floors in search of this objective should rely on computer-oriented employees and systems that assist the manufacturers objectives with automation, robotics, and computer programming. The previous mentioned are systems that are in current use worldwide but should play a bigger role in Puerto Rican manufacturers.
