Abstract

This paper presents a heat transfer study using the heat transfer device TDl of the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. In our research we determine the following heat transfer parameters for a system, t e ea transfer coefficients (h,U), the heat value (Q) of a specific section, the critical width of the insulation, the friction factor, the Nusselt, Stanton, Reynolds and Prandtl numbers.
