Abstract
This abstract provides an overview of the optimization design strategies that can improve the production and delivery process of a food truck utilizing Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodology. A standardized menu, quality equipment, an optimized layout, a streamlined ordering process, and data-driven decision-making are key factors in enhancing the efficiency and profitability of a food truck. Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodology can help identify and eliminate waste, reduce errors, and increase
customer satisfaction. By implementing these optimization design strategies, food truck owners can optimize their production and delivery process to meet the needs of customers while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency, resulting in improved profitability and success in the highly competitive food truck industry. Key Terms ⎯ Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping.
