Abstract
The research project focuses on the
implementation of Lean Construction in two
construction companies where each owner belongs
to a different generation. Company A belongs to the
Baby Boomer generation while Company B the
owner belongs to generation "X" and I, the assistant
project manager, belonging to generation "y". So
this project studies the generational shock and the
different visions that each generation has with
reference to work ethics and how this affects the
management of a company when applying new
methodologies to improve its efficiency. Using the
principles of Lean Construction and knowing the
characteristics of each generation, I will develop an
implementation guide for the construction and
management processes involved in a construction
company and that it be more efficient in terms of
profits, process identification, definition of roles,
reports and above all the constant communication
between owner, employee and client.
