Abstract

Water utility optimization using manufacturing methodology to investigate ways we can generate more revenue and a more efficient service. Considering different types of manufacturing process which could have a positive effect on the optimization of the water distribution process and complies with the objectives of the company. Acknowledging the factors that make take to implement a new process and taking in to mind the fiscal position of Puerto Rico. Benchmarking and performance optimization programs can widely help the need for a more efficient process, and that is why that a DMADV (Define Measure Analyze Improve and Control) process is being propose.
