dc.description.abstractThis project is taking place at Becton Dickinson Humacao. The manufacturing process of products: Echo PS™️ Positioning System with Ventralight™️ ST Mesh, VST with Echo 2 and PhasixTM ST Mesh with Echo 2TM Positioning System is currently manufactured by batches causing Echo PS™️ Positioning System with Ventralight™️ ST Mesh to have a non-value added of 99.60%. For the product VST with Echo 2 the non-value added is at 99.60%. Lastly, PhasixTM ST Mesh with Echo 2TM Positioning System non-value added is 98.65%. The project goal is to achieve continuous flow between the three (3) products while focusing on the size with the highest demand for each of the three (3) products which is Circle 4.5”.
