dc.description.abstractCoca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers (CCPRB) es una de las embotelladoras líderes en Puerto Rico, con tres facilidades en la isla y su principal planta en Cayey. La compañía les suple a grandes cadenas como Walmart, Costco, Sam’s y Econo, además de exportar productos a St. Thomas, St. Maarten y USVI, con ventas anuales entre 18.5 y 19 millones de cajas. En CCPRB existen seis líneas de producción automatizadas con una variedad de productos diferentes. La segunda línea más importante y en donde se enfoca el proyecto dentro de CCPRB es la línea llamada Hot Fill. Esta se dedica a producir jugos, refrescos, bebidas energéticas, deportivas y alcohólicas. En 2024, esta línea amplió su variedad de productos y se espera que continúe creciendo en 2025, por lo que la compañía busca optimizar su eficiencia, reducir tiempos de inactividad y mejorar el uso de materias primas para fortalecer su competitividad y rentabilidad.
