dc.description.abstractEn julio de 2015, catorce (14) de los setenta y ocho (78) municipios en Puerto Rico fueron declarados zona de desastre por el Departamento de Agricultura de Estados Unidos,debido a los efectos de la sequía y que por los pasados tres años se ha registrado una disminución de precipitación de hasta cincuenta (50) pulgadas de lluvia. Por esta razón se propone el siguiente proyecto. El mismo consta de 3 partes. La primera parte es la rehabilitación de las compuertas de la represa Guayabal. La segunda parte es diseñar una planta de tratamiento de agua potable de 6 MGD. La tercera parte es el desarrollo de un área recreativa que permite al usuario el disfrute de la naturaleza.en_US
