Irox-Helix Process Optimization

Abstract

In this project we present the progress report of the first three chapters of our capstone project carried out in the IROX laboratory of the Boston Scientific company in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Here we make a list of references in the first chapter of Define with the statement of the problem and where through the project charter, customer surveys, CTQ and SIPOC we carry out a value proposal, specifically in the assembly operation in one of the components of the laboratory which in our case is "Helix" which is mounted on the "fixtures". In the third chapter of Measure, we have developed tools such as flowchart, spaghetti diagram, "SIPOC", box plots and descriptive statistics. Our focus in this phase is to establish the current state of the evaluated operations.
