dc.description.abstractEl concepto de Diseñar la Expansión del Vertedero de Cayey, PR es la solución mas cercana a darle una extensión a su vida útil implementando los requisitos establecidos por el Manual de Diseño y Construcción de la EPA. Que conlleva una Facilidad de Recuperación de Materiales, un Programa de Reciclaje y el recubrimiento adecuado de las celdas y su recuperación de lixiviados. Se escogió Cayey ya que cuenta con un Programa de Reciclaje en la fuente y proveerle un desarrollo económico beneficioso al municipio y su ambiente.en_US
